Access Control Systems

Picture of an Access Control Unit

Security Systems has a highly sophisticated access control network, it is now the largest Cardax site in the southern hemisphere, and one of the largest Cardax sites in the world.

These integrated systems schedule door opening times, grant and deny access to buildings, rooms and lecterns, track usage of access points and also control many unique functions.

Access Control systems are installed in consultation with building users and Key Macquarie University Management areas. The purpose of the system is to enhance the safety of people and their property. The systems restrict access to authorised persons reducing the likelihood of intrusion and theft. These Access Control systems are monitored 24 hours a day by the Security Control Centre.

Mobile, radio equipped and highly trained Security Officers provide rapid response to alarm and other emergency situations.
