How to generate a project

If your request involves repairs or maintenance, please contact OFM Customer Service

 

If your request involves refurbishment, building works or infrastructure, please follow these steps:

Step 1

Read the information on the Space Planning & Management page. Document your request and discuss with the Dean of your Faculty or the Head of your Office to gain approval and sign-off. Fill in the Online Service Request

Step 2

OFM will review your request and a Planning Services representative will be in contact with you.

Step 3

If your request is approved (with modifications if necessary), funding negotiations will begin with your Office or Department. The Dean of your Faculty or the Head of your Office will sign off on the project and it will be allocated to a Project Manager from OFM Project Services.

Step 4

The Project Manager will advise you of options for your project. The design process will begin and plans will be produced. If required, local council approvals will be sought. Tendering will begin.

Step 5

Construction will begin and the Project Manager will monitor progress giving you periodic updates. Post-construction will follow and any defects rectified. The Project Manager will ensure that everything has been completed and handover the space to your Department or Office.
